We believe that this issue has been fixed with an update that we deployed with realm restarts earlier this morning.

Please note that raid testing is happening on the Cataclysm Classic Beta right now, and raid testing will end later today. This thread is about our launch test, which will occur at 2:00 p.m. PDT today on Public Test Realm (Wrath Classic). We do not plan to open the raids for testing on the PTR.

That is indeed the issue. Items that were deleted before the hotfixes and then restored after the hotfixes will not be affected by the hotfixes.
